HAPPENING TODAY: JN Foundation to Train Wayward Boys

VIDEO - Resolution Project Year in Review

JN Foundation's Resolution Project and ACT!ON Jamaica volunteer corps teamed up to host a Special Resolution Project starting today through Monday, December 17, for wards of the state residing at Alpha Boys home. Fifteen boys will receive photo-advocacy training from some of Jamaica's top photographers. At the end of the three day workshop, the boys will be feted by ACT!ON Jamaica volunteers during a Christmas Treat slated to be held at the school on Monday.

Recently, select students from JN’s Resolution Project photo advocacy programme participated in the Jamaica Gleaner’s “Capture Kingston” initiative which highlights the city’s streets, historical buildings and other aspects of our culture. Interestingly, this year Kingston celebrates 140th years as the island’s capital, with its predecessor being Spanish Town.

The boys at Alpha are in for a treat! Stay tuned to the JN Foundation’s Facebook and Twitter pages for upcoming highlights. ˆ)
