April is World Autism Awareness Month
In celebration of World Autism Awareness Month, the Jamaica Autism Support Association will be hosting its first World Autism Awareness Concert at the Emancipation Park on Saturday, April 6 starting at 4 p.m.
The following day will be the annual church service at the Barbican Baptist Church in St Andrew at 8 a.m.
The association is hoping to bring much-needed awareness to autism in Jamaica, as it continues its 'Light It Up Blue' initiative, which was started last year. Persons are encouraged to light up their homes, offices and schools with blue.
